Of course we have 8" of snow on the ground - unusual for this area of Western North Carolina, but I was reminded of the time, way back in 2015, when I had enough sun to grow eggplant.
We are in the midst of woods and simply do not get 6 hours of sun a day, BUT, eggplant is compact and still manages to produce a copious amount. Another picture, not as varied in color as this one, showed a bunch I had harvested when it was 39°F outside. They keep producing until a freeze. Plant some if you can, and if you like them. These came from a packet of Renee's Garden seed.
