Flag Guessing Competition!

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know where the "Unidentified Flags" from the below gallery come from?

I took those photos yesterday in Trafalgar Square, London. The flag, however, is not listed on any of the flag databases that I have checked. The protest was against occupation of Iraq, WMD and various other issues. But I'm not sure where this particular flag came from. BTW, it could be upside down so try and think latterally if it looks at all familiar!

Any comments left here or in my galleries are most welcome.

You've go me stumped. I couldnt find it anywhere. maybe its an amalgamation of several of the flags in the area, also it may be an older flag representing a nation that no longer exists. I have a suspicion that it is the latter. possibly a greater Islamic State. Good luck in figuring that one out.

It seems that we are looking at Tajikistan's flag. See below:

it is definitely the closest match I have seen.
