Are you asking for a diagnosis of the pelican's health? If so, my only guess would be that it looks like it's got a piece of corduroy fabric sewn into it's lower bill. That can't be good! :wink:

If you're asking about the photo, the composition is good, but the lighting is a problem. Not sure you can do much about that except play with the image a bit in Photoshop. A contrast mask might help a bit.
