This topic did what I wanted. It gave me a wide variety of images. Of course that made it much harder to choose my favorites. Thanks to all the participants for the great images.

Jarek M - Unnamed Plant - I really liked the detail in this one. I thought the water really added to the image.

Walter Otto Koenig - June 17 Photo of the Day - Wonderful image of a red blossom on a dark green background.

First Place:

David Decroix - In Sydney Botanic Gardens - I just kept coming back to this image. The striking contrast of red and green. Something about the shadows that produced the darker green areas gave me a feeling of motion.
