Thank you for your entries. All of them fulfilled to challenge brief, a photo that is enriched by the words captured in it.
It's been a difficult choice, the submitted images evoke such a wide spectrum of emotions, from hilarious to profound.

Honourable Mentions in no particular order:

Thanks for the HM Jarek.
The picture was taken in May of 2020, the peak month of COVID infections and deaths that gripped NYC with fear and despair.
Hence the relevance of the writing on the wall.
Congratulations to all.
