Nice entries folks. I had fun looking at these....

Honorable mentions, in no particular order.

Nice composition with the fresh and old metal creating contrast. Nice framing too. I like how you left out the bottom of the key.


Nice lines, guiding the gaze down that walkway. And nice, drippy rust everywhere.


Rust wins over paint!


Third place: Another winner from Vijay, who seems to have the sharpest lenses in all of pBASe and who seems to travel everywhere. Wonderful use of wide-angle in this interesting juxtaposition of nature and machine.


Second place: The most rusty rust of all. I love the simple structure of this image, making it look like a painting from the Museum of modern art.



First place: There is the rust of course, but I was captivated by the creative post-processing, which makes for a nice surrealistic image and sci-fi feel.
