Dear all: Wonderful entries, lots to think about.
Honorable mentions, in no particular order:
Markus Grompe- the split image messes with my mind
Carol Phipps- I like the angles and colors here
Flo Hendry- took a moment to figure this out
Marty- live view of the cathedral in what looks like a huge jumbotron
Jarek- a fractal image
Paul Dudley, I like the foreground contrast and framing against the melting buildings
AND...
Third Place: Margaret Lew- beautiful colors and contrast
Second Place: Steve Maz- beautiful colors and subject framing
First Place: Jola Dzibuinska- an unanticipated view of amazing scenery; great eye! This image got me to think about how we look at scenery. Not many of us would turn around from those monuments to capture the image.
