All three submitted pictures show a lily pilly tree; we had 6 of them along our back fence. They had been badly damaged by termites and were removed about 2 years ago, so the photos is what's left of them. Now we have young ornamental pears in their place:

The house did not go without any damage, floors had to be replaced in two rooms over so many years, but since we have the property inspected for termite's activity every year, things are under control... "touch wood"
