First Place to MCLEW: The angle, the startling reflection, and the vivid color make "Watermelon" like unto a, well, photo-realistic painting.




Second Place to GROMPEM: Rough-textured color and careful composition make these squash look like some obscure Celtic rune.




Third Place to AMOXTLI: Light-and-shadow + military composition = ominous. And I thought so before I saw the title: Alien Eggs!

A fun theme, well chosen. Thank you for Third Place. I did not arrange the eggs. We buy them from a farm and they come in trays of twenty like this just waiting to be photographed.
