272nd Show & Tell Competition: Simplicity - WINNER

Thanks to all the contestants, it was a real joy to see all your submissions. A lot of great pictures were entered and chosing was not easy at all.

First of all, the honorable mentions (in no particular order):


Just a great use of light and colours by Sandi Whitaker.


Very simple, yet very efficient image by Denis Camp.


I love how the pole seems to come out of nowhere. Very well lit image by Sang Chung.


Simplicity at it's best. Clear focus, amazing background colours, an interesting motive and very well composed by Brad Claypole.

Third place:


Amazing image by Jojie Alcantara. I love the mood it creates, the light reflecting in the sun and the strong, efficient composition. Great image!

Second place:


Oh yeah! This is what I was looking for with this contest: effective simplicity in an image that seems to defy geometry. Great one by Matt Sahli.

And finally, first place:


Fantastic picture by John C. de Freitas, both a great composition and technical perfection. I just can't stop looking at it.
