I sent you an email too, Marisa, but just in case, and for the benefit of future winners. The exact same thing happened to me. My title was too long, and when I posted it, the important part of it that told the subject didn't show up. So I deleted it to start over, and the New Contest button disappeared.
When I didn't get an immediate repsonse from Emily for a new New Contest button, rather than make everyone wait for a new contest, I just posted the contest without it. Pbase came in and automated it later.
You have to manually do most of the new contest anyway. The automation just automatically closes the new contest after exactly one week and posts the winning information to the list. It allows you to select the winner so that the New Contest button appears to them only. Otherwise, selecting the winner is completely manual too.
It's not a problem if you post it using the New Topic button. Pbase will jump in after and automate it for you.
So everone be forewarned. If you win, make your title short, then explain it further in the body of your new contest post.
Enjoy your contest Marisa!
