Post your Venus transit pics!!

Mine was taken in Chesapeake, Virginia, USA at around 6:25 EDT. Wish I would've been back in California!
(used a welding plate to cover my camera)

Happy and lucky to have watched my second and last transit in 8 years !!! The next transit will be in 2117 !! ( A Thousand Oaks filter have been used to realized these pictures )

Used a ND400 filter but could have added ND8 to reduce aperture to improve resolution
Exposure at 1/8000 sec @ F40 on Canon 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 L IS lens @ 100ISO
Exposures taken in Sydney Australia with a few fleeting gaps in cloud
Note different location of Venus compared to these shots. Also note sunspots

Nice pictures everyone. Here in Vancouver is was raining as usual, so we didn't get even a single photon of sunshine.

Nice photo Russell. Are you sure the location of Venus is different in your photo? You are upside down. If you flip your image it is the same as the northern hemisphere photos.

Taken in Northern California. Clouds came in and while I could still see Venus I haven't integrated those photos into the time lapse yet.
