It's been good - bye bye

Thanks PBASe for the number of good years since 2003!

Unfortunately, this site has been unable to keep up with Web 2.0 developments, making this site hopelessly old fashioned compared to the competition.

Having used PBASe for many years now and being a programmer myself, I seriously suspect messy programming behind this site's infrastructure and the subsequent inability to keep up with developments.

I've given PBASe a couple of years to catch up, but I've given up hope now, and after many days of painstakingly transferring all of my pictures, I am out of here. The difficulty with which one can backup of one's pictures on PBASe, makes me suspect this is deliberate in order to keep people with PBASe.

Well, I have freed up hundreds of MBs now, so I guess everyone else can look forward to another free storage space upgrade.

It's been good, thank you for while it lasted, and goodbye.
