Amsterdam is famous for its canals and 17th century houses, but it's also the cradle of the so called Amsterdamse School. Architecture of the beginning of the 20th century. It's closely related to Jugendstil..
These are some photos of both the inner and the outer side of the Scheepvaarthuis, built for 6 shipping companies in 1916. Stained glass windows are beautiful, as is the view from the rooftop
