INFERNO ... Roblar Fire Camp Pendleton

Roblar was the first major fire to erupt during the October 2003 firestorms in S. California.

Firefighters from all over the state, Arizona and Nevada worked to get it under control. It still burned 8k acres. No homes burned in this one thanks to helping weather and hard work of the 1,000 firefighters who battled it.

These photos are nowhere near as dramatic as the ones from Scripps Ranch and some of the other locations.

But these images will give you a good look at how this fire burned.
