Early evening at SD Wild Animal Park, a more pleasant look at the beginning of life, not the end as the previous.

Some members of a Pelican colony finally got within shooting distance at a local wildlife refuge. Here's a shot of one.

Bad news

Post Tue Sep 07, 2004 2:11 pm

I'm sorry to say I will not be able to post any more photos. My new house was broken on our 5th day there. All of my Photo Gear, Laptop with all of my photos from the last four months (Alaska and Florida), my wife's jewelry and all of my Daughter DVD and some misc stuff too. See you all in about a year.

Scott,

I am so saddened to hear of this. What a welcome. I expect the worst part is family photos and the jewelry. We had or house broken into about 6 years ago and my wife had all of her jewelry stolen, a lot of irreplaceable heirlooms, and that really tore her up. They caught the cuplrits, but the jewelry was long gone, and she is still looking for similar replacements to this day.

I was looking forward to seeing your posts from Honduras, and am saddened that you will not have the pleasure of taking and sharing photos from that region of the globe.
