Fantastice shots Anna! Took no time for you to put that lens to good use

Thx Gene, you are as always my inspiration. There are so many wonderful bird shots from everyone here that maybe Slug should consider a Bird Photo a Day metagallery....

Wow, Gene, fantastic! I love your heron shots. I didn't know you're hanging around here too.

Ya know, I spent the weekend chasing after herons, egrets, etc. and thought I came away with some pretty nice shots...especially of some green herons. Then I come back to this forum and look at Gene's posts and realize my shots are crap!!! 
Back to the drawing board I go!
I guess what I'm trying to say is those are some awesome shots Gene. The first post of the green going for the bee is amazing!

You too Yes, I post here when I get new ones in usually.
Guy - thanks. I have just been lucky enough to find some of these fellows that don't mind me around shooting pictures of them. This is the first time in over a year of shooting I have gotten any decent shots of green herons. I expect they will be gone soon. This same location had a wave of night herons, now green herons. There were a couple out there this afternoon, but I am too busy at work to snap them.
