Wow....theirs a LOT of birders in this forum.

This is a spotted owl that actually held his pose for me till I got my flash out...Don't usually bird much....as I dont have the lenses for it (Usually work in landscapes)

But here is one of my favorite memorys of a hike in the Columbia Gorge:
