I do not understand something, what rule is Mr. Wong violating? If he wants to post many pictures to Show & Tell, so what?
People were complaining of his use of the term in the title, that has changed, now you want him to post less?
The guy keeps the forum active with street work with his many posts of life in his world, is that a bad thing?

If you think his obviously obsessive need to have multiple threads is a good thing then by all means enjoy the Scott Wong Show and Tell Forum supported by all the rest of the Pbase members with our memberships. Technically when you are waiting in line at the coffee shop and someone skips to the front, that person is breaking no law either, but society has certain rules of etiquette in place for us all to get a fair "turn" of service. The same goes for photography forums such as this. Just to say, post multiple threads myself and to be just as disrespectful as Scott is, isn't a solution...just a reward for bad behavior. I'm surprised I even have to explain the obvious.

I agree, but I was afraid to say it, after being lambasted last time I dared to bump this thread. When the entire forum is dominated by one individual, the boundaries of good taste and decency have been crossed.

I agree with both of you, and well put Mike. Thank you!

Sorry you have a different view point than myself, maybe others as well, but you are entitled to your view point.
Mr. Wong does not most often post multi pictures in a unreasonable amount of time, is anybody else posting much?

I hardly know Scott, met him at Fred's place and here and else where, no more or less than other photographers.
I like street work, I like a lot of what Scott posts, it is not preventing others from posting.
If you do not like him, block him and problem solved. New people will do the same if they feel like you do.
He is not breaking any rule I have seen. He has stopped posting using "Street Photography" , but there were no rule change.
Likely a simple request honored, now people want him to post less, but he is breaking no rules and cooperating.

It am sorry you need the obvious pointed out to you.

Again with the cheap shot. He posts incessantly. If that's normal to you then maybe you should both go to the same therapist.

"you should both go to the same therapist."

Now you want to start insulting people further?
If you feel this strongly about it why do you not just get the site to change the rules.
Who left you God of what is proper on the PBase forums?

Use the Ignore option and your problem is solved, or would you rather just piss and moan about it?

Seems like the only one pissing and moaning is YOU. I'm allowed MY opinion of how fair the Show and Tell forums can be without having to employ an "ignore" option....something which new visitors don't have access to. Your opinion is that everyone does whatever they chose to do, which is irresponsible and selfish. My opinion has nothing to do with me thinking I'm God just as I assume you don't think you are the final arbiter of what's allowed here....or do you? Your ignorance on how much we have discussed this over the YEARS we have been here...and its been going on for years...shows. We HAVE complained to the site and they have decided to give Scott the free run of this forum. I guess you didn't know that Scott has been banned from other photo forums for EXACTLY the same obsessive domineering posting style, did you? He tried dragging people to his own blog and perhaps got a few takers, but here he gets to FORCE new visitors to go through his pictures and he's always on top so new visitors obviously must think he owns the place. Again, when we're in a social situation where all has equal access, telling someone to just as dominating as he is is NOT a solution. Telling me to ignore him doesn't help those who don't have THAT option. Telling me to back off because I'm sick and tired of it is NOT YOUR PLACE. How about YOU ignore this thread and soak up all of Scott's repetitive junk all day long?

I am not the one here throwing a conniption about someone else's use of the forum, you are.
Of course you are entitled to your civil opinion where did I say you were not?

If slug or Emily who make the rules, feel what Mr. Wong is doing is violating the site rules then they should stop it.
If you feel as strongly as you do about Mr. Wong's frequent posts then seek a rule change, stop pissing and moaning about legal use of this website.
Mike you are the one telling people to see a therapist if they do not see things your way.

I am just pointing out to you that he is not violating any current PBase rules.
You and others do not like this, well then have the website rules changed.
I am not the one asking for anyone to change their behavior on how they use the forum, you are.

WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE!!! I didn't say ANYTHING about legal use of this forum, you twit. I said moral use of this forum...get the difference? Don't start LYING about what I am or NOT saying, pal. We've been discussing this longer than you've been around so don't come on here telling us what to discuss. Like I said, how about YOU ignoring this thread and let us notify visitors on how they can ignore your hero. Oh by the way, the friends/foe option wasn't introduced until sometime in 2009, I think....so since 2003 to 2009 there WAS no option...and we've discussed this numerous times over the years. It wouldn't have conflagrated to THIS if you didn't stick your nose in acquiescing bad internet etiquette of a long time abuser on Pbase.

Well .... now that is a very adult reply.

Legal in the meaning of this website's rules and guidelines. Please show me what PBase rule he is violating?
Till such as time comes I really no longer have time to explain this point to someone with your child like behavior.

If anyone still cares, Mr. Wong's threads occupy about 2/3 of the first three pages of this forum. (I looked on a computer where I am not logged in). Presumably that percentage continues indefinitely.

Given that hard data, people can decide if that number exceeds the limits of good taste, or if a single thread with many posts is more appropriate.

Talk about childish. Asking a question and then sticks his fingers in his ears.

And Scott continues to wallpaper the Forum....

The pictures are fine, but it is common etiquette not too start a new thread for every picture of a similar subject.

What I find interesting is that, on the other forums I frequent, when this type of behaviour happens it is handled and moderate. This is the only forum where I have seen this. I find it disconcerting that it is not moderated. As a new user, or at least one not too familiar with internet forums, I would be put off. In my case, this is the only forum where I use the ignore function. But I think that the ignore function is pretty lame, I would rather see an actual decision regarding this matter versus the inter member feud.

There are so many other threads where one subject receives many posts...why is there no show me your street photography? the pictures I've seen they are all similar in nature, these posts should be moderated and moved into one thread.

yes, fishi seems to be child - uh oh how he whined about the "show and tell competition" when a picture won that was not posted correctly (which annonyed only him), but when many people are angered by monkeybrain he defends it ... sad case
