Gene,
Shooting in the States is different from Singapore. I find my self needing to remove my TC's. Nice going straight prime. The only problem I have is which bird to concentrate on. There are so many in an area here compared to Singapore. Now I can what for my cross country trip. You have to let me know where you get these great flight shots you get. I'm sure as a Nikon  shooter I should get one out of four shots 8) . Here another Osprey. I saw four Mating pairs in the Florida Everglades near the Flamingo ranger station. Never saw so many so close to each other. I hope to catch a Bald eagle (as told stealing fish from the osprey) next time.

Young Bald Eagle

Scott,
I fear its more like Singapore here in the midwest (with respect to birds). They are few and far between and I usually dont't have a choice what I shoot. Though the other day there was a Heron, a Hawk, and an Egret close to each other - that is so unusual I 'bout exploded :) I envy you guys in Florida, though I don't think you probably see many of these:

Gene,

your right I haven't seen many of those. Well I never seen a young or a full grown Bald eagle. Its one of the pictures I want to take before I move down to Honduras this summer. I hope I can get as good as you one day.
