The first one was double processed with hand painted layer masks in Photoshop to correct partial overexposure in the original and bring back the color in the nose and tongue.
Original is in the Sebastian gallery, open the two in tabs for a comparison.

Too much water
To replicate it needs some rain and a volunteer in his underwear...

I was walking by this fountain in Auckland, saw the inscription, liked it, and then a small kid jumped in. I didn't even have to stop walking to take the shot, and I felt it was a perfect combination.
To your own self be true, kid. If you feel like jumping in a fountain with no pants on, you go for it!

A tandem-bungy jump at Kawarau Bridge in New Zealand. As this is a common thing to do while you're down there, it's probably fairly easy to witness and photograph this yourself, but it was probably pretty unique for the people jumping though...

I was attracted to the water by a strange spiral wave pattern, and then noticed the fluttering hornet that had one wing submerged under water and was therefore only able to spin around really fast. I don't know if it survived, but by the time I got my shot and left it was probably already attracting the attention of some of the fish that swim in the lake...

Audubon members that were with us had never seen a Great White Egret grab another bird before. We were all very surprised!

Squirrel with my camera seems to be directing and taking a photo of our friend's dog, Bizzy!

It was fascinating watching the waves play with this beautiful piece of redwood driftwood. I watched for the longest time, caught up in the motion and the seeming lightness of this heavy piece of wood in the water.

There are silhouettes and there are bright orange skies, but getting them together is truly Mother Nature recognizing and blessing your efforts.

What a surprize, as we headed out to the dunes in Death Valley for a little night shooting, when the sky started catching fire. If anyone had seen us they'd have had a good laugh at the sight of us scrambling madly up and down the dunes, trying to find a worthy scraggy bush to show off the wild art of Nature, before the moment passed into history.
