I prefer things to be more organic, i can't guarantee anything, i may find one gallery that i can't find anything to comment on, i might then find another where i could post ten comments. I don't want somebody to comment on my work because i've commented on theirs, i want people to comment on my work out of interest, and not out of politeness . That's patronising and nothing is to be gained from it

Hi Guys,
Thanks very much for all the comments. Am already learning from them. It would seem that in a lot of my pics the foreground is very dark. So am off to buy some graduated filters tomorrow.
Also one pic has stood out as being more appealing than most to a few of you. http://www.pbase.com/kpoynton/image/61818545 So i will be using this one as my signature piece.
Most of all though, doing this has made me want to step up my game and work harder at my pics. I have so much to learn. So best get to it.

Sounds like a nice idea. Many people have commented on my individual photos, but not many comments on entire galleries. Putting together an entire gallery is more than just a bunch of nice photos, I think a gallery should tell a story.

I'm just an amateur with a P&S, and I have a lot to learn. I think my next camera will be a DSLR.
