There were so many images to choose from but I've picked this one in the end. It would have been either this one or one of the images from Monument Valley, Capitol Reef 2005 gallery. It's totally surreal and shows the great skill in post-processing.
Many superb images to choose from, but I really like this one because of the contrasts between the sky and sea, the well handled exposure and the atmosphere this image exudes.
On the one hand, picking something from Walter's work is easy, because I have been a fan of his work for a long time. On the other hand, picking just one shot is definitely a challenge. Nevertheless, I chose one from some of his recent work involving sunsets and a pier. Always a pleasure to spend time with his work.
Peter does a great shop on the surface, but I've been a fan of his underwater shots for a long time. I went with this shot of a "Clam's Smile" for the brilliant colors and a different way of showing the subject.
