Sky Pilot has a great collection of photos from some of my favorite places -- backcountry Pacific Northwest. I really like this somewhat rare perspective of Mt Rainier from the lesser traveled northwest part of the park. Tough choice given the great Shi Shi beach sunset shots.

I do love (and am totally jealous of) the subtle, soft light in this
very pretty capture of the Watchtower in Grand Canyon.

This is just a perfect picture and without a doubt one of the best (if not the best) night shots I have ever seen on pbase. Everything about this picture is just right: the golden glow that is perfectly captured, the composition and angle that shows the vastness of the bridge, the shadow on the water that gives it a three-dimensional feeling and that perfect amount of detail that let's you discover something new every time you take a look yet doesn't make the picture uneasy. Simply put: a perfect shot!

I love this one! Really interesting image. Very well spotted and well done for finding a good angle. Good post processing too, without overdoing it.

Quite difficult to choose - such a wide variety of topics that Gemm Ferrane presents...

There are extensive albums on cars (with a preference for ferrari it seems ), subtle macro and close focus floral shots and some other themes/topics as well...

In the end I chose this one - but only because you had to point out one only...I also liked the moody misty scenes of Oxfordhire..

This is part of a series of shots of reflections in the Vietnam War Memorial, and makes for very expressive images with a good sense of story. Nicely done.
