Gene, yours are fantastic as usual! And so many other gorgeous bird pics here, I can't begin to compete, so I won't try. I'll just post this one because I think it's funny. We have a pair of mallards that hang out around our pool and deck in the spring while they are tending their nest. I feed them along with the rest of our wild critters, and they swim in the pool from time to time. But on this day the female got a weird notion...she decided that the animals' watering dish would be a cozier "pond" than our 30' pool, so here she is! Silly duck!

More great pics added...nice work all! That guy with the lonnnng bill is really a weird one!

I just took these pics this morning. We have a pair of cardinals nesting in the yard and they come to the feeder every day. The male takes seeds back to the female and feeds her ...now that's a well-trained husband! I just missed his passing a seed to her, but will try again for sure. Meanwhile, here's what I got today. It was a cool windy morning so their feathers are all fluffed up...I love that...so cute! :)
