CyFair Volunteer Firefighters supress a fire in this house after a lightning strike punched a hole in the roof. My house is just up the block and I was outside, watching the thunder and lightning storm on my front porch when this strike happened. It's probably the closest I've ever (and ever want to be) been to a strike and the flash with the instantaneous CRACK made me jump.
