Interesting way to try and get comments. While some of your photos are a bit soft focus wise others are very nice. Your stuff is certainly no worse than most stuff on PBase, including mine, so quit feeling sorry for yourself! :D Also posting a link in your message makes it easier to get to your photos. What are the settings you used for your macro shots? Your photos seem to be lacking exif data.

Re: Help Wanted

Keep at it, you learn only by doing. I like the Sony DSLR and just a few tips
1. put your 350 DSLR camera in for service to Sony - make sure they check and clean your sensor and your lenses are clean
2. make sure that your camera and lenses are at the same temperature as the environment to minimize dew fogging
3. use the lowest ISO setting to minimize noise. Where possible use a camera mount to minimize camera shake.
4. try experimenting with vivid setting to give your photos more life
5. content is important - try to photo and frame photos of interest to your audience
6. lighting - very early in the day and especially in the hour before sunset the shadows are better and the colours seem to be more alive
7. taking photos in daylight with the sun directly overhead you will find your photos washed out - lifeless
8. seek the moment, try and capture the feel
9. attend one or more of the sony photography courses for your camera
10. experiment with infill flash against bright backgrounds
11. compare the quality of your photos against those taken by others with the same camera - note their exif settings
12. have a look at post processing I use ACDSee Pro 3 but there are many good editors on the market

hope this helps http://www.pbase.com/junglegeorge :)
