Let's see some Panoramas

I would be nice to see other people's panoramas, and maybe a brief description of how they accomplished the editing, etc.

Most of mine are from a recent trip to Budapest, and include 4-7 pictures stitched together.

On a still windless morning I found Jackson lake to be a temporary mirror for the Teton Mountain Range. I acted quickly and took four handheld images, then stitched them together using PS.

About a dozen or so (perhaps a few more) stitched by overlaying layers in Elements. Difficult to align as I moved down the street as I took the series. I may not try it again just yet...

Question for the panorama directly above. Did you pan the camera as you moved down the street and took a couple of shots, or did you literally move to the right six steps, snap a shot, move six more feet, take a shot, etc?

Question for the panorama directly above. Did you pan the camera as you moved down the street and took a couple of shots, or did you literally move to the right six steps, snap a shot, move six more feet, take a shot, etc?

Hi Dan

I moved down the street, trying to keep the camera perpendicular to the front of each shop. Each was hand held, and so joining them was a little tricky. You can probably see some of the joins at full size. There are more exposures than shops in that picture. But it's a bit of fun!

Here are two 360 degree panoramas with polar coordinate wrapping, one with the sky to the outside and one with the ground to the outside. I hope to try this again someday with a slightly better original.
