My pocket pals have their own gallery... http://www.pbase.com/cits_4_pets/my_rats A pretty wide diversity of shots included mirrored reflections, Boy chasing girl, Holiday themed shots, closeups, wrestling match... Please visit the little hoodlums and see how cute they are...some have CURLY TAILS...some do pet therapy visits. http://www.pbase.com/cits_4_pets/pet_therapy_visit

Well, color me bumfuzzled! Lo, these many years, I have mistaken rabbits for rodents! Thanks for enlightening me.

Turns out that I would have had an excuse if I'd been born before 1912---that's when "they" made the switch. From Wikipedia:
Classifications
Rabbits and hares were formerly classified in the order Rodentia (rodent) until 1912, when they were moved into a new order Lagomorpha.

In an attempt to make amends, here's a very possessive squirrel (order Rodentia, family Sciuridae---I checked to make sure!)
