Gill's Lily used B&W very well


Allagill: The tulips are beauties, but I especially admired the striped pattern of stems and hyacinths (?) in the lower background ... well seen!

3rd Place:

In Marcel's photo, the central part of the image is powerful, but I found the radial pattern of spines in the outer part of the frame compelling; great use of depth of field!

2nd Place:

Arnie called this "waiting for some sunshine," and you can almost feel the bloom ready to burst

And 1st place, Walter's beautiful, perfect Water Lily! Over to you, Walter...
