Amur Leopard
A highly endangered big cat, it's natural habitat has been reduced to a small area where the borders of China, Russia and North Korea join.
Only about 35 remain in the wild, almost all in Russia. The San Diego Zoo has three young ones, which is where these photos were taken.

California Condor...(taxidermy specimen at Lindsay Wildlife Museum. Front page of today's Contra Costa Times had article on the condor and the problem of lead poisoning.
