Got any Telephoto Macros?

Post Sun Sep 26, 2010 3:49 am

This are examples of a macro like shot taken with a telephoto lens, 500mm in this case. I was 15-2 feet away for both shots. Please post any similar shots you have!

The 300mm is my absolute favorite lens for butterflies...
Eastern tiger Swallowtail - yellow form female

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail - transitional morph female

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail - male

The very tiny, spring blooms of a shooting star wildflower.

Black Swallowtail - recently eclosed and drying it's wings before flight
