Le Jazz Hot - A photo shoot

Post Wed Mar 10, 2010 12:16 pm

I had a great time this past Sunday photographing the rehearsal of a local jazz group. They were getting ready for a gig later this week. They rehearsed in a local recording studio that turned out to be a great place to shoot. The lighting was pretty good and I only had to use an extra light sparingly. Spent about three hours shooting. A lot of fun. Check out the results.

Let me know what you think.

Enjoy,

Really nice collection. Great use of depth of field throughout. I bet the band members love them. I have a similar gallery if you would like to take a look. Also like your WWII reenactment stuff.

Thanks, glad you like the photos. I took a look at your link. Very nice. Didn't Jay Unger write the "Ashokan Farewell"? We have the Philadelphia Folk Festival coming up here in PA and I am looking forward to photographing it. I love bluegrass and folk music. After JAZZ!
