Tokyo, Narita and Penang Malaysia

Post Sat Dec 20, 2003 3:59 pm

Hi all,

Please check out my Japan and Malaysia galleries listed below. I took these during a recent business trip to Malaysia, and a nice 2.5 day stay in the Tokyo/Narita area.

Comments are appreciated.

Beautiful! A wonderful mix for the area. The images from Malaysia, just stunning.

I have never travelled outside the US, and always enjoy the personal shots of other area. This is a lovely representation of both Japan and Malaysia.

:) Thanks for taking a few moments to visit my gallery. I checked out your gallery as well. I especially liked your 26 things 2. I never have the time to do those, maybe one of these days.

Hey Jason, long time no talk to. Looks like the new camera has been treating you well. I particularily liked one of the butterfly shots in the Malaysia gallery. Anyway your galleries have been growing nicely since the time we last talked.

Cheers.

Hi Don. Yes, it's been awhile. Last time we 'talked' wasn't on good terms, so this is a bit awkward. Anyhow, you seem to have made quite an impression here. I've seen a lot of your stuff on the popular galleries list. I particularly liked your Green gallery actually.

The pair of butterflies on the branch opposite each other image seems to be pretty popular, it's actually one of my favorites.

Thanks for the comments, see your around.

 Yup, you can say that again....Anyway, it looks like you grabbed the right butterfly. The greens is also one of my favorites as well. Trying to decide if I should keep adding shots like the one below or just stick with plant forms for the most part. Right now I hedging on adding them to this gallery. Have fun posting here at pbase. People in the forums here will enjoy the type of stuff you shoot.

Cheers

I'd add, but I'd also remove whatever is in the background that I can see poking out, sorta looks like a ladder.

I posted my Glacier gallery sometime ago, didn't get any responses, so we will have see about your last comment ;-)

Nice work Jason. I like that particular image as well. What equipment do you use?

Those freaking ladders!! They have about five of them on this huge place and I always seem to capture one of them. Nice spot. Somehow I spaced that ladder completely out.

I found you get most your comments through the upload lists. Except for a few people that almost always comment, the forums do not seem to draw that much action usually. There can be exceptions I suppose.

See ya

See if this works... I tried to respond once and pbase bugged out or something. Anyhow...

Thanks Chuck for the comment and taking the time to respond.

I'm using a 10D with a 17-40L and 70-200L F4. I'm enjoying the camera very much, though a bit heavy to get used to after coming from a Minolta 7i.

Yes, I had the same problem after using a G1 for a while. But the 10D is close to my AE1 so the transition was fast. I have "cheap" glass on mine - an EF 28-135 and an EF 75-300.
