Changing color of page numbers

I would like to change the color of the page numbers within galleries from blue to something else. I like a black background and it is difficult to see the blue next to white text on a black background. If I use the black background style sheet the white text becomes more dull and makes the blue stand out more, but I have had a couple comments that from viewers that say they prefer the brighter white text. Is there a way to change the blue page number text to some other color (yellow maybe) to make it stand out more?
