Personally I detest them, your thoughts?

Hi Nigel

I think they were a bit of a novelty when they first appeared on PBase but now I like to keep it simple. My stylesheet I "purloined" (with his permission) from Matt Walsh (thanks Matt!)

I agree with Nigel on this one.

It's gimmicky, and why do something that actually makes your gallery look worse?

i don't like them, further i think those galleries with dark font on dark background that you cannot read anything are a pain

Definitely I hate them, expecially when the pBaser likes low-key images, dark by themselves.
In this case, instead of browsing, I escape as quick as possible... ;-)

I used to like them, but they distorted the image (until you rolled over it, which you might not by the look of the image) and picked up the color of the background due to transparency. I switched all of mine off of this setting.

Changed the roll over to something subtle

Wasnt a big fan of the dark thumbnails, so I ended up modifying a style sheet and came up with this.

I like the ability to enter long titles in my thumbnails

What code do you have to add to a sheet in order to get your frames to change colors when doing a mouse over? I love it!

I like your style sheet.

How about this one?

I got it from Arjun Roychowdhury and then played around with a couple of things. Arjun has posted several helpful hints on this forum, and has answered multiple e mails from me to try and perfect my new style sheet. Heres a public thanyou to Arjun. I think my whole webpage looks 1000 times better now.
