Counter & Style sheets

This is going to be hard to explain:
I did notice that Alan Grant has created a special div class for his counter:
That works with an HTML code he has in his Description box on his front/main page:
So After some weeks I decided to try that, first to see a better solution for the Nedstats indicator and secod to learn more about new classes in CSS.
I´ve tought that maybe it is possible to "hide" the nedstats indicator behind the main image in my page (see HERE)
So my questions here are two:
- Is that possible?
- Wich other CSS codes we can use for this kind of "special" CSS classes (created by ourselves)
Thanks in advanced. I hope it is clear enough.

THIS IS WHERE THE USUAL COUNTER CODE GOES....
