Meta tags and pbase keywords?

Does anyone know if the pbase photo keywords act as meta tag keywords?

I'm pretty sure we can't add meta tags (title, description, keywords) to our root gallery or other galleries, even in the stylesheet. (If we can, please show me how!) So do other sites read our individual pbase photo keywords as meta tags, or are they just for the internal pbase search engine?

keywords on images show up as a meta tag keyword but not on galleries.

i doubt that any of today's search engines bother with meta tag keywords, but i guess we might as well put them there on galleries just in case. will look into it.

That would be great. I think Google uses them. I had to contact them
because some porno site was putting my main website in their meta tags
and that was not superb to see Google did take care of it.

Altavista and Google have warned website makers not to put in words that are not actually part of the content of the pages or they will remove the listings.
