When I set up my homepage years ago I was intimidated by code. Instead of learning to create the text font, size & color I wanted using code, I created jpg text boxes on Photoshop. I then inserted these into the code location as 'img'. Now that I need to change text and modify contents of it, I'm trying to learn how to set up the text code properly because it's impossible to easily modify those old 'img' jpg's
Here is what I mean: (the first part is slideshow code--I got the template from a friend & just added my own picture #'s)

I've been studying the w3schools.com CSS pages on styles for font-family, font, text size, color; I use their 'try it out' feature with varied results. I don't know what order to put the various style code pieces in for font size, color, capitalization, etc. I've tried each out individually, but don't know where to place them in the above code.
Is there a page that explains what order code should be in inside the 'description' box on the root gallery page?
Hope this isn't too confusing.
Thank you,
Karen
