Text below gallery icons?

Is there a simple code to place text below the gallery icons?

If you mean you wish to add text below gallery thumbnails, it's added in the description area. Check your edit options, or look in the "Help" section: Link in the top right of the Pbase menu bar above.

Well, thats actually ABOVE gallery thumbnails for me. I want text BELOW gallery thumbnails.

Okay, you mean you want the "Gallery Description" below the thumbs...
Might be possible, but I've yet to see anyone accomplish it.

It is possible with a footer. I have tried this once before but had issues with spacing. Good luck with it.

You could try an image map. I had one a few years ago. I created my map in Paint Shop Pro, which also provided all the html and then uploaded it to a hidden gallery and put the html with proper links into the gallery. The nice thing about using your photo editor is that you can write information anywhere in the image you want without being limited to the standard fonts that are available in the CSS. It takes a bit of time and some trial and error but it can be fun, too. The trick is to keep an editable master that you can do minor changes to and then just upload again.
