Editing CSS for individual thumbnails

I'm not even sure this is possible! Basically, what I'm trying to accomplish is to change the alignment of the image/text of the individual images in the gallery. I want to keep the gallery stylesheet intact (with rows of images). Specifically I prefer to have text to the left or right instead of below the image when you open the individual images, similar to a blog template. I've played around with it a little this morning and have managed to almost achieve the look I want. But I can't figure out how to get the image into the box? Actually, I was able to place the image there but then I had duplicate images on the page :( This is what I was able to accomplish: http://www.pbase.com/rickscustomnursery/image/66339018.

Is there any way to work around this, or is it just not possible without changing the actual stylesheet of the gallery? Even if I am able to find a way to do this I'm not sure FF is going to be 'friendly' - when I viewed the page in FF it's totally different from what I see in IE :x

Thank you for any help or suggestions,
Debbie

Never mind, I played with it a little more this morning and changed it back. I think I can make it work but realize that I would have to edit every single image to align it properly since they're all different sizes. Oh well, at least I'm learning!

Thanks,
Debbie

Hi Debbie,

Even though it is possible to move things around the screen using css (although sometimes with a great deal of side-effects) I am quite sure you've come to the right conclusion, it would be an awful amount of work to do this on every photo!
