iwould like to know how i can put an image instead the country flag at the profile page...
where i need to put the link ...

I don't believe you can change the flag image but if you select "select country" in the country list drop down, then the flag option will disappear. You can then find an image of choice, edit it, then select "Click here to make this image your profile page portrait" and that image will appear in your profile in the place the flag was originally, assuming you took the option not to have the flag.

I think the steps that djwixx described are the ones I used. My profile now looks like this. Don't like flags.
