help with webdev please

i really like the format of webdev but i am html stupid and i know it was posted before but, how do you get rid of that dark fog over the thumbnails? can someone tell me step by step how to get rid of it???

also if someone can tell me why the darkness doesnt show up on this mac im using but does on my PC that would also be helpful.

There has been a lot of dicussion of the webdev CSS as well as pointers to modifications of it. Please search the forum.

Webdev (the last time I checked) uses a lot of IE specific as well as CSS 3 tags that may not be supported by all browsers on all platforms (yet).
