Actually we have thousands of Stylesheets to choose from. Every customized gallery is using one (every gallery used one as a matter of fact) and YOU CAN USE THOSE. How? See the source code, grab the second .css url that links to the stylesheet and save it. Then edit that as you wish using our tutorials at the PBase Wiki (Srijith already gave you the URL).

A few more recomendations:
- Ask theguy/girl if you can use their CSS... It´s more polite, and makes the guy feels better. You can use it without asking but it´s better to ask; there is no good reason for not doing so.
- If you use it, try to add the original URL from where you took it, so other fellow pbasers can see what you might have changed.
- If there is a copyright (or copyleft) declaration in the CSS the right thing is to keep it that way.

Hope this helps
Matias

Hi

I am totally new to using such style sheet and would like to create one for my site. Is it possible to advise a step by step guide on how to apply such style sheet as I am do not have any know how on HTML. Example is where to see the source quote, to change and apply it? Is there a site where such instruction is given to beginner to try out these style sheets? Thank you.

Regards

Steven Tor

It's good when checking a forum to read the "Sticky" posts at the top. You'll find the answers to get you going here:

May I ask what may be a dumb question? Is there a forum site for the very beginning or a library that has more general stuff that I can access? I am very interested in updating my site. Thank you!!!

It's here! :) If you want - begin new thread and ask any question about html or css. I think there will be people ready to help. And so - never say "thanks"! Ask more if you need.

For all those Carbon Fibre lovers, I created a new stylesheet based on Pbase member Rampim's stylesheet.

But there is no other stylesheets to choose from that is better looking than the one I'm using now. I'm not an expert in HTML so I could not customized my stylesheet. Competition if offering more options to their stylessheets...but PBase? hmmmm....I'm very sure that if this request is granted, I know I'm not the only one who will be very happy but thousands of those who continue to patronise this site.

Ah... I thought that's what Srijith had already done with the Wiki. There's a section which gives basic info. Between it, and the sticky posts it covers the basics pretty well. http://pbasewiki.srijith.net/
