I have absolutely no idea on how to customize my Album/Galleries and I want to expand on what is available:

1. Where is CSS explained in a fairly easy to understand format?

2. What is Webdev, and how does it relate to SCC?

you can read about CSS here http://www.pbase.com/help/css
there is a link or two from there

Webdev is one of the few CSS's that are available on Pbase

I live in Chile, and this means I speak and think in Spanish. And the last time I programmed a computer was in 1988 -an Atari 800 XL-. So, it is very, very hard for me to understand the strange codes and stuff that CCS refers to.

Is there a <i>merciful soul</i> out there that could refer me a good page about CCS programming in spanish? please

I don't think that you need to learn CSS programming to do some customizing.

The biggest problem is getting started.... as pbase doen't explain how to edit an existing style sheet (CSS). You are given a new CSS (basic) and expected to add code(?) Not easy!

I suggest reading my earlier post here:

Then, you can take a CSS near to your liking and start changing fonts, colors, etc. Keep the CSS editor opened as well as one gallery using the CSS that you are editing. You need to see the changes in a real gallery.

Keep in mind that sometimes the pbase servers are slow... they can update the gallery immediately or take 10-15 minutes. You can right-click on your gallery and 'view souce' to see if the changes have been made.

After a while, you will learn to add extra lines of code to add frames, scrolling messages, etc.
