Although I have a slide show in my main gallery, I have tried to set up a similar show in my black and white gallery. I have tried to cut and paste the relevant (or what I think is relevant :) ) text into my description part of my black and white gallery, but all it does is push everything to the right and no slide show. Any ideas folks?

Cheers and thanks in anticipation.

Sheila

Sheila,
I checked in your gallery, and if you're using the standard b&w style sheet you can see if this is what you want:
http://www.pbase.com/dang/waterdrops
I'm not using the b&w sheet on in it myself, but added it for you to chedk. I can email you the script, although it was working fine it's now gotten a glitch into the photo change for some reason when using b&w.

I hope Grace doesn't mind that I am adding her gallery to this list. This is an example of super clean and good design, great html and image map:

Welcome to the list

Yup, Grace's design is very simple and eye-catching. I added it in to the main list. Also found a nice one by Iso400 (not sure of the name) but some of the image links didn't seem to work for me.

Cheers

Yup... S**t happens from time to time. Have you looked around in the PBase Wiki? http://pbasewiki.srijith.net/
Maybe some info over there might help you.

Haven't visited the forums in a while and just came across this thread. Great collection of links you've gathered here, Karthik. So many great desgins others have come up with using different methods and it's great to see such creativity beyond the realm of photography. I appreciate being included on this list.

And my sincere thanks to you and all the other 'style gurus' here as I've learned, and received help, from many of you. Without that, my site design wouldn't be what it is now.

By the way, absolutely love how you've customized your profile page...excellent work!

Regards,

Sainath

Thanks Sainath

Thanks for your kind words Sainath. Pbase certainly has the ebst community spirit and just the right mix of creativity.

The profile page I should really thank Srijith for. I was inspired by his customization.

Keep shooting!
Cheers
