PBase

Since there's so many computer pro around, i was wondering if there's any way at all to add html scripts in pbase to password protect a gallery. Oh er...tht's considered java innit?!?!

I guess you are talking about JavaScript and no, they are not the same as Java.

If that is what you were aiming at, it has been discussed over and over. Two points of view. First it provides a false sense of security, cos anything that prevents protection using Javascript can be compromised.

But the other section's opinion is that at the least novice people who like to steal the images will be discouraged.

Still waiting the *GODs'* (pbase team's) view on it.

Well thanks anywayz. I was thinking more of privacy for only a group of ppl to view certain galleries due to obscene images that may offend others...or images of ppl among the group of frens who dont wish to eb seen by others,..u know..... well i just really hope they'll add this feature in pbase. Peace!

The pbase team has promised that password protected galleries are on their way soon. Hold on!
