Hi Dan:

You need to copy&paste the Alexc stylesheet into that blank page.
The URL where it is located can be found cliking this link.

After you do that, you need to name it, save it and then modify as much as you want.

Hope this helps,
Matías

Hmm... Sounds weird But I´m not sure if I`m getting it correctly. Try this URL and let us know what do you see:

http://www.pbase.com/css

That is the URL of the "Edit CSS" function.

Hello Matias, I am having trouble with the font colours of the titles in my main gallery. I just cannot locate the relevant target to change this so that the white text (the colour # that needs to be changed) on the white background becomes legible. Any help is appreciated.

The font colour that I am looking for relates to "linked galleries" in the root gallery. The titles of the images in the underlying galleries are visible.

Finally made the switch to using firefox and the webdev toolbar - what a huge difference and recommended to anyone using pBase. The ability to view your potential changes whilst you are changing the CSS is so useful. Many thanks for all the guidance on this forum!

This is very important to remember. All changes you make are 'temporary' and not 'permanent'. When you exit firefox or visit a new page, all changes made to the current page are lost. Therefore its a great tool to fiddle NON-DESCTRUCTIVELY. Once you have fiddled enough, and like what you see on the right, copy the complete style sheet on the left (select all->copy) and paste it into the usual PBase interface for CSS changes.

OK I have been working on this, your instruction are great. Although finding what is what in the HTML code is still a challenge even with ID & Class details on. I have a h2 no h1 is that logical?

Anyway, I need help with one simple item at the end copy and paste into the usual PBase interface for CSS changes. Where do I find that "interface for CSS changes? I just tried a simple test change h2 text from right to center, saw the change on the right CTRL+A to copy but can't find CSS changes.

Help please.

Dan apologies for the delayed response - I just noticed the question.

The page to change your stylesheets is http://www.pbase.com/css
(you need to be logged in)

Select the stylesheet you want to change and you will be presented with the existing CSS code in a text box - which you can edit, and then Save.
