Links - What's the code?

Hello all,

Sorry if this is a re-post, but I can't figure out how to link other peoples names, and their links on my site. Everytime I do I get the entire URL, and all I want is their name display for their link. Any help would be appreciated.

Note that even after you use this format for the HTML, if the whole HTML shows up, most likely it is because HTML codes are not allowed in that section. You will have to find some other place to put your link.

Is this possible, all my attempts caused a gallery update failure comment
I managed to link to a www address but not with this

Yet in the forums it works perfectly
The gallery in question is http://www.pbase.com/ilanphoto/rhps
and the HTML box is marked

Got it to work and the solution has nothing to do with HTML
