Is it possible to maintian Color Profile TAG on thumbs?

Currently, only the original image maintains any color space information making matching colors between the original and Thumbs impossible. The Thumbs are not tagged with ANY ICC profile and are therefore displayed in the viewers device space. So even if you convert to sRGB to upload an image, the thumbs will NOT be displayed in sRGB unless the viewers monitor maps closely to sRGB.

Is it possible to simply MAINTAIN the ICC Profile on all down sampled thumbs?
